When people think of planning weddings and honeymoons, they are thinking about something that usually occurs between just two people.

That may have been true in the past, however, families today take on different shapes and sizes. According to an article appearing in the Washington Post, the Stepfamily Association of America stated that nearly 65% of all nuptials for the 2.3 million couples that remarry each year, also include children.

A committed couple may have had children before deciding to get married, or they one or both partners may already have children from a previous marriage. Some couples may not be able to find a sitter in order to get away without the kids or they simply don’t want to.  Kids are easily included in wedding ceremony in thing like carrying wedding bands or being flower girls, but what about honeymoons.
